Kind of cool - we put the camera in the duck house tonight for the first night of sleeping in the big duck house with no fence separating them.
After the initial round of everybody whacking everybody else, they are settled down for snoozing. I wonder now what it looked like before the new girls were added to the mix - they can't see squat in there.

My daughter keeps telling me we need Ducky cam. I have 1 duck that has " behavioural Issues" She is very hyper all the time- and it would be so funny to be able to sit and watch her. What kind of set up did you have for it? I keep thinking its a bit to technical for me- but I would love to try it.

All was fine when we spied on them again this morning around 6.

We bought a Foscam wireless camera to spy on the dog while we aren't home and she's in the kennel. But we have borrowed it for duck cam activities as well.
DH hooked it up so it hung down from the roof of the duck house. So from inside we are able to control the camera and where it looks. The duck house is tall enough that it is out of their way and the power cord ran up the outside of the house and then along the ridge vent to the camera inside.

It was a pita to get it set up initially, but DH was finally able to get all that done.
