Squatting at 8 weeks old!!??

My 8 and a half week old pullet is already squatting for me! I thought that they squat when they are close to laying eggs, does this mean she will lay SUPER early?

Squatting does not just mean close to lay. Both males and females can squat and it is a way of showing submission. Depending on the breed, you still have a few weeks until you start getting eggs from her.

Pretty sure it's a sign of trust/submission. I have a few that will do this when I reach for them.
