Hiya another quick and dumb question

Do hens only squat?
My older 6 month old silkie has been getting some red in the combs and wattles, and hen I walk near her she will squat. Is this norm? What does it mean

My 5 month old silkie who is much more timid runs away...

YAY!
So its normal then. She even lets me pet her

However, once in a while she will run away.
Also I can hand feed her! YAY
I take a pellet and she eats it from my hand!

DO roos squat too?
