Squinty, runny eyes

Here is a picture of my Buff Roo, Sal. Any idea what's wrong with his eyes? He looks like hes squinting and white stuff is coming out. Also, could it be contagious?

Yes, isolate him. He may have a respiratory disease. Is he sneezing or coughing?

Not that I've noticed. He seems completely normal except for his eyes.

I also just noticed he has red bumps all over the sides of his legs

That sounds like a separate issue. He might have mites or lice bothering him. There is an ophthalmic ointment that you can get at feed stores called Terramyacin. Try some of that for his eyes.

Can you put up a pic of his legs, maybe we can get an idea what's up with that. How is he doing?

My Ernie had the same problem and a a little runny nose. I blotted his eyes with damp cloth and then I rinsed his eyes with saline solution - you know like you use for contacts. Put Sulmet in water for all just in case. After a few days he was fine.

We bought some Vetericyn at the Feed store today so I'm going to try some on his eyes and legs. His legs look like he has a rash.
