Squirrels stealing food

I have a couple of pesky squirrels getting through 2" x 4" welded wire fencing and bogarting my girls food. Any easy solutions, besides a beer and a pellet gun and a nice afternoon??

ummm....i have tons for wild bird feeders, but not chicken feeders O.e
and hey, why not have some fun with them, a beer and a pellet gun

I had squirrel issues too and went to my local hardware store and bought one of those plastic hanging bird feeders with the swivel top/lid....it did the trick! Just find the biggest size they sell. I think mine was $10? Good luck!

Mix crushed red pepper into the chicken feed. Birds don't have the taste receptors to feel the heat, but squirrels do.

Get one of those little squirrel feeders that look like a bench with the spikey thing you stick a corn cob on... my squirrels love it! Squirrels gotta live too ya know!

Hope none of them pellets ricochet and put your eye out.
