St. John’s County, Florida - can I keep them here?

Hey there just wondering if anyone knows the process or currently keeps backyard chickens in this county? I can’t seem to find any information about it online. Kind regards and thanks in advance- back yard chicken fans for any help, QuailWhale

Uhm, No. Many counties and cities restrict or prohibit chickens. Does not seem right, but it is the case.

Are you in a development or governed by a HOA? If so, you need to follow those regs. If not, then call your town office and see if there are any town zoning laws pertaining to keeping poultry. IF they give you the go ahead, you should be fine. If not, they may tell you that the county is your governing authority.
