Stacked roosts?

I am working hard at getting my coop done! (pics might be on tomorrow, not sure) But anyway.

It's smaller than I wanted, but the budget was small...

Can I stack the roosts, or will it cause overly pooped on birds

From my reading it is recommended that the roosts all be on the same level. Not a poop problem, rather competition for the highest roosting spot can create a rucus.

You certainly don't want one tier of birds right above another, pooping on 'em

So unless you had droppings boards separating upper and lower roosts, or build 'em "leaning ladder" style, you can't "stack" roosts as such.

Also the closer your roost space is to "it's all alike", the less squabbling.
