I have 12 duck eggs in my incubator right now. 2 Muscovy that have been incubating since August 19th and 10 mixed ducklings. Khaki Campbell, Silver Appleyard and black Swedish and some runners that have been incubating since August 27 I wanted them to hatch near the same day.
I had a box of eggs that was completely busted that was supposed to come with the mixed ducklings and they are Saxonys. Since all my eggs were broken I contacted the seller and they finally sent me a box of replacement eggs. 9 very dirty eggs.
I have two incubators but I like to use the other one for hatching as it’s humidity is always high and it’s smaller. I was going to put these 9 in the incubator with the others until the others are ready for lockdown but they are very dirty.
Can I clean them in any way without damaging them. My other 12 eggs are developing wonderfully and I don’t want to contaminate them. Should I put the dirty ones in the incubator that keeps a high humidity.
I don’t know what I should do. I have them sitting out right now since they were shipped but i want them in the incubator by tomorrow morning.
