Need opinions:

I'm looking to invest in a cabinet incubator BUT, due to the differing humidity needs for incubating eggs vs. hatching eggs, is it better to hatch in a separate incubator??

or

will the other chicks be fine in the increased humidity.

I know you can do either - but is one Much more reliable for good hatches than the other?

I do have a LG I could use as primarily a hatcher....

It's best to have a second incubator set up for hatching so you can move all eggs on Day 18 to the hatcher, which is already regulated with higher humidity. That way, you can stagger one on top of another, as long as you have time in between to clean out the hatcher to get ready for the next bunch coming along.

I've tried it both ways and it really depends on your setup. To me, It's harder with a staggered hatch, because it's more difficult to clean up while waiting on eggs and in the middle of some hatching.
