Staggered hatch

Yeah. shipped eggs are always a gamble and I probably will only buy local eggs to hatch from now on.

I bought shipped eggs and are going in tomorrow they have been sitting over a week due to faults with my incubator got a new one so I'm fine with that but there are 28 shipped eggs going in with 18 local eggs so I'll hope for the best

You would think that a business that the customers pay their wages; would care more than they do. I am sorry that you didn't have better luck. I to am in the same shoes.

I only had biddies at the time, but I just adopted some rescued hens. They have signs of rooster wear on them, but I've been having a really hard time looking at the eggs telling if theyre fertile, I can't find the bullseye anywhere. But I just adopted them a few days ago. I'm worming them right now anyways, and I've read not to hatch when worming because it can lead to deformaties. Once they're done worming, I'll probably set some eggs. They're really nervous and I don't want to stress them yet until they can calm down a bit.
