Standard too with silkie??

Will my standard breed rooster mount my silkie hen?? If he does and she goes broody will the eggs hatch? What would that mix be like? Thanks

yes, your rooster should mount your silkie hen and yes if she goes broody the eggs should be fertile, I have breed silkies and also have sex links and isa browns, one of my silkie hens went broody have I hatched out some isa browns, and they have mini afros, feathers one their legs, purplish skin and the comb of a silke (not sure what its called)

I don't know if your chicks would turn out different with a stander roo, and silkie hen, but I hope this helps!!
