Standards vs bantams egg production?

If your goal is a lot of eggs than look into standard sized birds. If your goal is how to get eggs cheaper ( starting from scratch will cost more than purchasing eggs from a store) or you don't have much space
bantam chickens might be better for you.
Different breeds lay different sizes. Some bantam eggs are a third of the size of standard eggs.

Standard eggs are larger but they need more space
Bantams are smaller(and less eggs) but less space and more broody
2 bantam eggs(about) equal 1 standard
Which one would you go for eggwise?
There is a reason White Leghorns are popular.

They are small-ish hens, so they don't need quite as much space as the bigger breeds. They often lay eggs that are just as big as the big hens lay. They lay bigger eggs and more eggs than bantams.
