Hi Guys! It's dry nowadays here in Maryland but it'll get wet soon enough once summer is gone and...We sure could use some help and advice on how to cover our chicken run so as to keep out the rain. Our run is rectangular and attached to our coop at !8ft by 42ft. In years past, I've tried covering parts of it with just a large tarp overhead draped over a strong horizontal wire but with little success over the long term. Thinking about buying a lot of PVC long flexible pipe and bowing or bending

it over the run by attaching it to the wood fence surrounding the run and somehow connecting each flexible piece of the PVC pipe at the top above the run. The attached photos will help understand I hope. Anyone have any experience they can share on my PVC idea, or on any other affordable DIY solutions? Your suggestions, thoughts, photos, and plans would all be very greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

I think you're on the right track there. You could also use cattle panels, they'll stand up to the elements longer than pvc will, are stronger and more stable.
