I needed a place to put newly hatched baby chicks. I saw a plastic file folder in Staples that was cheap. It has a top and bottom with supports. In that is a clear plastic tub that slides in and out. I put newspaper in the bottom, hung a 60 watt light bulb and a waterer and all set. The babies can keep close to the light to get warmer or if they get too hot, they can move away. Each tub will hold 24 babies to about three weeks then I put another file folder on top and divide the chicks and it keeps the mess in one easy to clean spot.
