"Stargazer" chicks- born that way- any cure?

Every now and then I get a few chicks that hatch as "stargazers" (wry neck). They bend their head over their back & then fall over on their back and have trouble getting up. I have to find out which hen is passing on this gene, but meanwhile- is there any cure? Is it worth trying to save them, or should I just pinch them off right away?

Ive had great luck with liquid poly vi sol vitamins for babies.Get the ones with NO iron added. I give them a drop 2 or 3 times a day as soon as I notice wry neck. After a few days, you cant tell them from the others.

I have been giving them powdered Vi-Tal (vitamins) in their water. Is the Poly Vi-Sol better?
