I have a Hen that wants to just stand in the corner of the coop and stare. She is eating and drinking OK. But I noticed today she is breathing heavy and at times she acts OK just wondering what you think. I got her a couple of months ago and I think her age is about five months. I've yet to get an egg from her but I'm sure that will come in time. Just wondering about her standing and staring in the corner of the pen and heavy breathing maybe there's an antibiotic I can start her on. Thank you

Your pullet sounds ill. What is your climate/location?
Supportive care like warmth, hydration and perhaps probiotics.
You didn't mention her breed, how long she was in quarantine, how many other birds, what makes up her diet, ventilation in the housing, temperature.
I wouldn't recommend an antibiotic cause you don't know what is ailing her.
It could be viral, fungal, parasitic, nutritional, environmental or even if it was bacterial, it could be something antibiotics can't cure. Dosing antibiotics without a diagnosis contributes to resistant bacteria.

I believe she is in Easter Eger her and one other was in quarantine for one month before I let them in with my other three. The other four are doing just fine. I live in Northern California my Lowe's at night around 40 during the day 50 to 60°. She has no discharge or swollen eyes. Just a little worried about her. Like I said she is eating and drinking water she is in a covered area at night. She just looks peaked.
