My Starlight Green Egger, Buttercup, is 10 weeks old. I bought her from Tractor Supply and they were labeled as a “Premium Pullets, sexed chicks.” Since a chick she’s always been more aggressive and pecking at all the other hens. With the aggressive behavior and her comb growing larger/redder than the rest of the flock, I’m starting to think she is actually a he! What do you guys think?

This chicken does not have male saddle feathers yet or male hackles. I know the comb and wattles are large for the age. Have you heard a crow yet?

I have not heard a crow yet!
I just read about this hybrid breed. Hoover hatchery breed a cross between Prairie Bluebell with an undisclosed brown egg layer. Similar to EE, they can look very different. I'm not so sure if the coloring will help with the sexing. Perhaps, someone who has this hybrid breed can share photos of their full grown males and females. Good luck.

This particular hybrid can have some red on the wings/shoulders, even in females, but that's an awful lot of dark red combined with a large comb--I'm thinking cockerel.
