Started my first incubator experience today. So far temp is holding at 99.1-99.6 and humidity is around 49-50% My fingers are crosessed. 13 quail eggs and 6 Olive Egger eggs. Anybody else starting today?

I'll be one day behind you, starting tomorrow!

I started today about 5:00 pm

there are 7 BBS & 5 Delaware (from speckledhen) and 6 of my own eggs - 2 EEs and 4 unknown x EEs. I am hoping they are my standard splash or red cochin's eggs. My roo is a beautiful EE.

I am so excited. The incubator came today, fired it up and in the eggs went a bit later. So we are due September 7th! yay

I am using a Genesis 1588 and the temp is steady holding at 100 degrees.

It's my first run at incubating eggs and since I didn't candle any in the beginning to check for fertility... (I didn't really get how to do it) I'm extactic to see the little heart and vien system growing. Even though my temp and hum are on target I somehow didn't believe that it was working. Hopefully it all works out. Only 11 days until the quail start hatching.
