starter feed bag is empty, time for more feed, what am i gonna ask 4?

I switch mine to a flock raiser sort of feed from 12 weeks until the first of that batch begins to lay; THEN I switch them over to lay feed. It's not a good idea to switch them over too early...it can cause laying issues later, like internal laying, prolapse, etc. Best to let nature decide when it's time for them to lay and not force it. Flock raiser is a good, all-around feed, and once they begin to lay, you can still feed it to them, mixed in with layer. So, it's notl like it will go to waste.
