starter feed for cornish x

Im getting some cornish cross chicks soon and will start them on a medicated grower feed but the only kind my local supplier has on hand doesnt list broilerson the bag, only layers. Will I still be ok? Its a 20% protein. Purina Start and Grow

It should work for them if its starter/grower, just make sure its not for adult layers, as it will have too much calcium in it.

If you want more protein ask your feed store if they carry turkey starter. That should be 24-26% protein.

It's really how fast you want to grow them out as to what amounts of protein you use and as they get bigger limiting the feed.
