starter incubators?

okay, so i was talking with my SO who was like "why not buy something bigger and really good, just in case you get into it . . . that way we won't have to buy a 'better' one down the road . . ."
so i went with this:
R-Com Pro-20 Egg Incubator PX20 D USB PC Control RCOM

i figured if the SO was onboard than why not? right?
and just so i'd have something to do with the marvelous machine i put a bid on some eggs on eggbid.

not that i'm actually going to incubate anything . . .

(wow, the denial is soooo thick isn't it? we really DO need some kind of incubation 12 step group don't we? i'm not even doin' it yet and i can FEEL the compulsion rising up in me!)

thank you to everyone who chimed in.
yur awesome

Im looking at a picture of a "picture window Hova_Bator incubator" it doesnt say what model it is but it looks like your one Dawn The 1588? its under $100 but does not have a turner
They sell turners for 50 and turner motors for 27 can you use without the turner? is it hard? what do the eggs sit on?

Can you get your SO to call MY hubby and have a word with him.... when I asked I got the HECK NO answer.....
(I might have to resort to buying it and sending it to myself with a card from my friend!)

i say you should get your bator by "whatever means necessary."

maybe start leaving pictures of adorable little baby chicks all around the place. he'll break down eventually. they always do. ha!

i LOVE your sneaky idea of sending it to yourself as a gift. very subversive!
