Starter vs Scratch

My hens are 7 weeks old. I was told I should feed them starter till 6 mos old then the laying feed and that scratch should not be given unless only as a treat. Another told me they should be eating just scratch now?? These are my first chickens and I'm totally confused now!! Help please!!!!!

Go with the first. Scratch is just a treat. It's a good training tool to get them to come home when you need to as well.
