If they are kids they will normally really, really like chicks, and other fowl. (But it depends on if the competition is TV/Video game illusions too :( ... )

I often joke that chicks and ducklings and ducks have the power to hypnotize small children. So far it looks like its almost guaranteed. My nephews cried to have their parents come let them see the ducks...which horrified me, because when they come over I have to keep their parents from tormenting the ducks.

I also want to encourage you in this new effort to try again.

Fowl are one of the very few things you can do on very small pieces of land, that can still produce a lot in a year. This part I find fascinating.

Now mix that part in with the idea of doing other things, increasing efficiency, and gardening; and you get even more gas mileage.
