Starting Broody Over? (Bad eggs)

I was wondering if I can start over with my broody hen? She is a week in.....all the eggs were bad and rotting. They came from the same roo, different hens and the second try. Wondering if the ground was too cold (my brood house is set right on the ground with a plywood board bottom and a few inches of pine shavings- still very cold here at night), or is my roo infertile? He is a year old and the breeder told me she had chicks from him before I bought him.....

Also, my favorite hen's eggs are all very porous (read on line it is best to not use these to hatch). Is there anything I can feed her to correct this?

Cant you just go buy some baby chicks and set under her? She will have to start over and continue for another 21 days plus the week or so she has been sitting now.

OH, I don't know....wonder if 1 wk is long enough for her to think she hatched them? I have cochin bantams, so I can't just go to the feed store. I have to locate some, they don't seem too common in my area.
