Starting my coop this week!

I'm excited! I will be able to start my coop tomorrow. I am converting a lean to that we are currently using for horses. My husband built the horses a new shelter, and our tin order will arrive tomorrow, so as soon as we get the roof up we can start converting the old shed! I'll be adding some windows, ventilation and an attached walk in chicken run.

Yes, been wanting to get them for years, and kept procrastinating building a coop. So this year we just bought some chicks and decided to just do it!

Ha ha! You sounds like me! Ive been thinging about it for a long time. If you wait until you have a coop built before buying your first chicks you will never build the coop. By buying the chicks you are creating the mandatory moitivation to build the coop.
Btw I'm picking up my first chicks today and am looking fora few pointers for an economical coop. I have a few ideas for a coop but im not set on anything.

Yep, we were at the feed store looking at the chicks as always and I said I wanted some, as always, but how we needed a coop first... My husband convinced me to get them and use that as motivation to build a coop faster
For an economical coop have you considered pallets? That's what we were going to do before we decided to convert the shed. What's your budget?
