I Got my Brinsea mini advance Thursday. This morning started warming incubater. Just waiting for one more egg to be laid today then I will have my Cortunix dozen ready to set. This is my first time incubating. So hopefully it goes good, my kids are anxious. Putting distilled water in it. Dave

If you can wait 24 hours after the egg is laid before you incubate. Freshly laid eggs don't hatch as well as day old eggs. Good luck with your hatch, be sure to adjust the bator from normal humidity to lockdown humidity before you put eggs in it. Give it a good test run basically, so you know exactly what you need to change at lockdown. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Ok put my eggs in tonight. Everything looks good so far. My incubator is holding good temp 99.5. Now got 17 days to wait. Set my bator to turn eggs every 3 hours. In a room with good temperature. So I think I am doing it right.
