Starting with Chickens again...

Hi I'm Cory from Florida. I'm a gardener, homeschooler, herbalist and soap maker. I just joined to ask a question about sexing some barred rocks that I just got. It has been a while since I have had chickens.

My husband and daughter build this chicken pyramid hen house for our new birds.

Im relatively new to here also, but not to keeping chickens. So you're wanting to tell the sex of some Barred Rocks? Are they newly hatched or a few months old?

! Great to have you with us! Love your chicken pyramid!! Not sure how your predator situation is where you live but you might consider putting some hardware cloth up 16" or so around the perimeter on the ground - a determined raccoon will bust through chicken wire. You might also bury it around the perimeter to keep digging marauders from getting in. Good luck to you and your birds!!
