Yes PFMs are a subscription it allows a little bit more customization with setting and gets rid of ads not something you need but it does help keep the forum running

Points you get as you get reactions or posts and engage on the forum and they just change this

Medals you are nominated for it it just shows that your a good/outstanding member in the community and reaction score just counts the amount of reactions you get.
