Please can someone tell me if a temperature of 97.5 farenheit (approximately 36.5 celsius ) is acceptable for my hatcher? This is the temperature at the top of where the eggs will be.
I have two African Dewlap eggs at day 28 ready to go into the hatcher but am just a little worried about the temperature - they have been incubated at a steady 99.5 farenheit (approx 37.5 celsius). I have tinkered as much as I can with the hatcher and have had it at a steady 97.5 (approximately 36.5 celsius ) for the last week, it won't go any higher and I'm frightened to try tinkering with it anymore in case I break it!
I will not up the humidity until the eggs externally pip, but I have practised adjusting the humidity and it will hold around the 80 percent level.
I cannot hatch in the incubator as I have a staggered incubation of more geese and ducks going on! Please can someone put my mind at rest?
I would be so grateful for any help - this is my first ever incubation and I am so very nervous!
Thank you so much!
