I thought that I had my incubator (still air, no turner, old style with light bulb as heat source, water with sponge x2 for humidity) stabilized as it remained at 102 all afternoon. I set the eggs last night and woke up at 6 Am (about 6-7 hours later) to find the temp at 104! I immediately vented the unit and it quickly came back down to 102 degrees and has remained there. I know I will just have to wait to candle...but what is the prognosis for these little peeps? Thank you

Too hot is generally more damaging than too cool so as you say you will just have to wait and candle to see what has happened to your eggs. They maybe ok as nature really is a wonderful thing!! As it was 6-7 hours that the incubator was not checked on it may not have been that amount of time it was too hot.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your eggs :fl
