Still air vs circulating incubators

Are the hatch rates really different between the two. TSC has a still air incubator and egg tuner for a grand total of $80. Thinking I can't make one for less or maybe I'm just being lazy

. Just seems easier to drive a half hour and pick one up. I have 9 openings in my coop now for spring arrivals

My vote is for adding the fan! It made a huge difference in my hatch and survivability rate! I bought mine as a easy plug in made for the bator but computer fans for the electrically inclined work well too! I also like the Hova bator vs the Little Giant sold at my TSC and ordered it online - did have to pay for shipping but it was only 40 bucks

Yeah I was searching online and found some pretty good deals on the Hova w/fan for about $20 more than TSC w/out it. Kinda of a no brainer to me
