Still cant figure out what this rooster is.

I got this guy a few months ago from a friend. He was still in his chick stage and just starting to grow a comb when I got him, we wasn't even sure if it was a rooster or a hen at first. But now its positive that its a rooster. Problem is, I don't know what breed he is. She said he was suppose to be pure bred from some eggs bought off this forum. But has no idea what breed of birds she got since there was so many different kinds.

If he had feathered feet I would guess splash birchen marans.
Other than that I have no clue either.

Looks like a cross or a mix of White leghorn with a heavy breed. White color and the bigger tail from Leghorn, body is in middle between Leghorn and heavy breed. White legs is a big clue, means at least one of the parents was white legged or has black legs with white soles.

It does, I fed them a lot of corn this winter so its sort of off in color. It was more of a lavender color earlier last year. The barring showed up better. Let me see if I have a pic of it last year.

Wow! That is really interesting looking! Cut out the corn and let him molt back to that pretty color

( I almost wonder if he was supposed to be a coronation sussex )
