I would also think pekin, though its head looks grey? Maybe it's a swedish? Where did you get it?

I was told it couldnt be a pekin becouse of the color of its beak.
it came from a feedstore from the Assorted bin

Its head does look a bit grey

I hadn't even noticed the bill. But you're right, pekins usually have orange or pink bills as babies. I would say it's a blue swedish, possibly a splash, which is also possible with swedish ducks.

I just never had a blue swedish so young, so I had no clue what it was

Yeah, that's what I would say it is, a splash swedish. If I remember correctly, the color of this one's bill would mean it's a girl, but don't quote me on that part!

I remember reading some where tyhat you can tell the gender by their beak color,but I dont remember where. How do you tell? What color means girl? What color means boy?

Gosh, I don't remember for sure, if you do a search on here for it you should be able to find it.

It seems like it was something about an all black bill for one sex and a pink and black bill for the other, but I'm not sure. I don't have swedish myself, and am just *trying* to go by memory of what I have read on here!
