Still don't know whats wrong :(

About a week and a 1/2 ago I noticed my hen wasn't eating as much and she was puffing up. I figured it was because it's colder outside. About 4 days ago she was REALLY sick. Dehydrated, loss of appetite, comb fell to one side of face and is now pink and not red, SUPER skinny! I posted on here and someone said she probably has worms. I got her the Safe-Guard Liquid Goat wormer (what they had suggested) and gave her 2 1/2 ml yesterday. She is still no better! She's so bad sometimes she'll collapse. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong with her? All my other birds are healthy. I'm clueless!

Wish I could help, but worming is the only thing I could suggest to you and you've already tried that.

Well I went to check on her and she had died. Bummer, but I kinda figured she would. I'm gonna miss those eggs of hers!!

What breed is she and how much does she weigh? If she's not drinking/eating, you might want to tube feed her. These links have great info on how to do it:

FYI, 2.5ml of Safeguard is enough to do a 5kg (11 pounds) bird when dosing at 50mg/kg.

Wished i could help.i also have a hen that has not been feeling well herself.at first i thought she may be egg bound,i gave her a warm epsom salts bath,and rub her belly.that didnt help.than i felt inside of her vent.could not feel anything.checked her for lice and mites.i wormed her in july.so i wormed her again.i found my answer just a few days ago.she is molting.
