Need a duckling for next week so my little single egg doesn't end up being an only child.

Need a 1-2 year old khaki or runner (or Welsh Harliquin, or blue swedish...) female to help keep busy a very...uhhh....active Khaki drake. He is good to his girls, just , well, in his prime

I wish I could help you out somehow. I'm still trying to talk myself into getting rid of my two freeloading drakes, otherwise I'll have to pen them up seperately if they start getting too wild with the ladies. But those guys aren't going to do you any good.
The Welsh Harlequin breeder I know won't be parting with any until June or July, I believe she waits until they are old enough to know their sexes and if they are show quality.
I'm sure you are checking Craig's List.
The ranch store up here in northern Colorado is getting in chicks, but they won't get ducks until April for some reason. Maybe way down there in the tropics the feed stores get ducks sooner.
There are a couple of animal swaps up north here, one is from March to November, on the second Sundays of the month. Here is their contact info: http://brightonsaddlery.com/html/general/maps.php
The
other's held on the first Saturday, I'm not sure if they go all year, but here's the store that puts it on: http://www.jtfeeds.com/
Good Luck!

Oh yes. I am wearing it out..LOL

I heard rumor that Colorado Agri Feed in Colorado Springs is getting ducks. I will call them Monday. Big R is supposed to get them in on the 9th.
