Hi everyone, I have 30 chickens and 2 roosters as well as 6 Alpacas, 1 donkey, and 4 dogs. Last night one of my roosters (I think it is an Americauna of some kind, very cheeky and full of attitude) was trying to 'share' food that one of my female Alpacas had knocked over. She didn't like it and chased him and I think she may have nipped at him. He seems fine and has been smart enough to leave her alone (at least her feed) but I wondered if there are any diseases or issues that can be transmitted from other animals to chickens. My Alpacas and the 'Donk' are all current on shots/worming, and I don't allow the chickens in the area of the back yard reserved for the dogs... All of the chickens seem healthy but I was curious as to what signs to look for and was hoping for some suggestions/ideas... Thanks and have a great day!
