Still outsiders?

Update. Still refuse to go in the coop at night. I had 5 staying outside, 4 CL and 1 LOB and the OB and 1 CL went into the coop for a bit and now the CL is back out with the rest of them but the OB is staying in the coop now. I have laid everything flat and they will just sleep on the laid down pallet. Put them in the coop every night for a while and they just refuse to go in at night. The run is completely secure so i guess they are just run sleepers? Only reason i definitely wanted them to get used to the coop is laying eggs. Guess they win and its just the way it is?

In one of your previous posts, you mentioned having solar lights. Try turning those off. Maybe they feel comfortable sleeping in the run instead of the coop because it's bright. Worth a shot.
I agree with this. Put them into the dark coop, on a roost, and shut the door. They likely will stay put. Repeat for about a week. Once they get in the habit of waking up in the coop, it should be "home" to them. Let us know if this still does not work.

They are on a timer for a half hour at dusk and this recent few weeks the solar isn’t quite charging it enough to bring them on most nights so they haven’t been on much. They are usually on their flat pallet before the girls even start going to bed! Pretty mind boggling to me lol
