... I have a bunch of pictures on my laptop of them and it’s sad to think of when I raised them.
I tried replacing them with quail and that didn’t work. They’re nothing like chickens. They made terrible pets for me (personally).
And now my mum and sister say “let’s get more chickens!”. But I just can’t understand why. The reason I had to rehome all of mine was because no one helped out when I went to my dads, no one fed or cleaned them out if I went away, so I had to do what was best for the chickens. Plus, I had to rehome because my mum was thinking about moving and her boyfriend wanted to destroy my chook garden for his garages - which never got built. And now they all want chickens again! I keep my answer firm, no. But it’s so annoying. I literally had my perfect flock. I try to help people out on BYC with what ‘knowledge’ I have, but some of the users and questions here make me
