Still Waiting on eggs

I have 10 Georgia Giant bobwhite quail. 8 hens and 2 roos. They are 1 year old in May. I still have no eggs despite the pep talk I give them every day. I have searched for egg shells under the pen and found none so I don't think they are eating them. Any Ideas? I am itching to hatch some of these.

I to am waiting I've gotten 3 eggs in two and a half weeks, I guess it's just not time yet !!

Thanks! Good to know. I wonder how long we must wait. Someone told me the first of April when I was anxious in Feb. I have not seen the first egg. I am beginning to think I dont have the paitence for quail.

My Georgia Giants have not started yet either. My coturnix just started last week and they aren't at full capacity. I am only averaging 3 eggs per day.

I'm getting 1 egg every 3 days, I have 3 females,1 male.This has been going on for 2-3 week now.

I heard that they need 14 hours of daylight to start laying, mine haven't started yet but I'm not worried since in my latitude we are in ~13,5hours.
