Stinky poop

This morning I opened the chicken house door and the smell was not pleasant. I did not think to take a pic but it looked like everyone has diahrea it was just lines of poop. I did get a pic of this one and it smelled from a distance. Any ideas from chicken experts on if my chickens are sick and need to be treated now would be appreciated. I do plan on taking a fecal in to the vet Monday. They get egg maximizer feed with a handful of kitten kibble and a handful of black army fly worms then free range during the day.

I don't see anything alarming about the poop.

Cecal poop can smell pretty strong.
Broody poop is a killer, it makes you want to scold somebody!

You mention you opened the chicken house door and the smell was overwhelming. How much ventilation do you have in your coop and how often is poop scooped?

A high protein diet can also contribute to the stink a little. If your flock free roams, they are finding a lot of bugs and what not to consume. I'd cut out the Kibble and see if that makes a difference.

I may have been over dramatic on it being overwhelming it just smelled like poop and my coop usually doesn’t smell like anything or have the lines of poop usually just piles. I clean every morning. I was only feeding the kibble because I have one girl going through a heavy molt and one laying soft eggs that I have been giving a 600mg citra cal +d3 every night. I’m new and it shows I guess I panic over every little change. I have three windows and open eaves for ventilation. And a fan when temps get in the 90s for the chicken house.
