Still looking for a home! I have a farmer lined up as a possibility, but he's so busy we can't find the time to meet up and integrate my chickens. I need more options, especially since we're nearing the end of the month. I need to re-home my kids by September!

*Adding on that it's still risky for me to commute very far, but I'm desperate at this point I'll make it happen. I'll drive to Lodi, Sac, the bay area, anywhere.

I've posted on a local re-homing group on Facebook but I'll do Craigslist too.
Edit: I'm hesitant of posting on Craigslist because I don't want to risk my chickens being culled or eaten, etc, or worse. I know there's a chance of that here too, but it feels less than Craigslist.

Well do what's more important to you. It's actually 50/50 on that. You need to weigh your options before time runs out.

You could charge a fee for the hens and ask to see their set up to make sure they actually have chickens. Make it a contingency.

WE DID IT!!!! An animal sanctuary near me has offered to be my kids new forever home. I just dropped them off an hour ago. It was really hard to let them go, but now I can rest knowing they're safe and with a new family that will love and cherish them just as I do.
