Stopped eating scratch

My chickens loved scratch but over the last 2 weeks have ignored it. Is it the heat or something else. Thanks

It could be heat. They often eat for the energy and heat produced by the carbs in scratch.
It could also be that there is a problem with the scratch. Perhaps it is old or moldy.
I wouldn't mind if my chickens preferred not to eat scratch.
What part of the world are you in and what breed/s of chickens?

Thanks I am in Austin Tx . I have Red Sex Linked hens- about a year and a half old. The scratch seems to be OK.
