Stopped eating scratch

It could be heat. They often eat for the energy and heat produced by the carbs in scratch.
It could also be that there is a problem with the scratch. Perhaps it is old or moldy.
I wouldn't mind if my chickens preferred not to eat scratch.
What part of the world are you in and what breed/s of chickens?

Thanks I am in Austin Tx . I have Red Sex Linked hens- about a year and a half old. The scratch seems to be OK.
