My Americana has suddenly stopped laying a bit ago, which she had been doing regularly until now, but we have had no eggs from her in 5 days. Today I noticed she has runny poop stuck to her backside where the normal tuft of fluffy feathers usually reside.
I have also noticed that she is laying down in the dirt more often in the past two days with her head hanging low.
But she is eating and drinking well, and comes running with the rest of the crew when I go out with a snack of grapes or something fun.
She is about 18 months old and is very spoiled (clean coop, fresh food and water, very nice coop, etc.)
Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks so much,
Kahu Kenny

She might need to be wormed.....Internal parasites can cause runny poo and also stop the gals from laying......
