Stopped Laying in nesting boxes

Any ideas why all 6 chickens would quit laying their eggs in their nesting boxes? They are all leaving them in a pile in the corner on the floor of their chicken coop, so I have to use a shovel to get the eggs out can I retrain them with the golf ball technique??? Help

I have heard of people using golf balls for that. I always used ceramic or wooden eggs. I got mine on ebay pretty cheap.

Have you checked them for mites? Sometimes if you have an infestation they start laying all over as they don't like getting bitten while they are in the nestboxes.
