Stopped Laying

Bought some sex links off of CL and they were pecked pretty good. I was getting 4 eggs outta 6 chicken but now they stopped. Wondering if they stop laying while feathers grow back in. My other thought is they are laying outside in run but haven't had time to check.

Lots of variables.
Could be molting in addition to recovering. Provide a good high protein feed (calcium on the side) with minimal or no treats.

Could also be the shorter days since you're up north.

also take the time to check each one head to toe for anything that could be troubling them such as wounds, lice , mites etc.

Any idea how old they are?

This time of year, they may be molting by your description.

Thought about the molting. We did get one egg today. I turn the light on in the coop so thy have 10-12 hrs of light and according to the guy I got them from they are a year old but who the heck knows.
