NO. I wouldn't post this if I wasn't sure. I am not accusing ANY or ALL egg producers in California of this practice. This was the EXCUSE used to argue the legislation, claiming that it was taking place. Honestly I do not have the documentation in front of me--all that I DO know is that in California there are new standards for keeping chickens that will probably raise the costs for egg operations.

STILL want to know if anybody thinks the price of eggs is going up. I KNOW that many of us sell our eggs, and so, it's an important question. Perhaps this might NOT be a topic now, and might be more important later on this year.
