storing eggs in the carton

My hens just started laying so I'll be selling my eggs soon. When you put the eggs in the carton does the pointy end go down, or the round end?

Oh gosh, I didn't know that? I didn't think it mattered? So, why the pointy end up?

Pointy end down helps keep the yolk well-centered in the white. Not important for baking but makes fried eggs nicer.
