strange behavior

I have a 10 week old Deleware Hen that keeps going in the chicken house and looking at the nesting boxes when no other chicken is near. Surely she is not ready to be laying is she? I find her by herself alot. Does anyone have ideas on what she may be doing?

No way she is going to lay this soon, she is probably just curious.

i have herd of young hens laying pullet eggs at a young age but not that young...yea id say she is just checking things out.......you know like kinda like a teenager experiments and is curious
