strange boiled egg

hi anyone know why this red ring is in my boiled egg?
the egg is from my serama hen, the top picture is how they normaly look i had 6 eggs and 3 were like this, all eggs have been laid in the last week. should i be eating them?

It looks alot like the blood rings I see when incubating....did she sit on them? I, personally, wouldn't eat that!

hi nikki i didnt eat them, its winter here in uk temp has been down to minus 6 very cold for a few weeks now, i have taken eggs each day, i know what you mean about blood ring as i incubate eggs as well

I know this is a couple months old but this looks simular to some of my hard boiled eggs. Have you got an answer. One picture I came across said salmonella. Any info would help. Thanks
