strange broody....

I have a cochin sitting on 4 eggs. 2 are brown, 2 are green. She has them all under here, but has them in 2 separate bowls in the nest. She is covering both, but it is like she is sorting them out...

Mine.... no way those are mine!

I hate to break it to her, neither are hers, but she doesn't have to know that... right?

Anyone else seen a broody do this?

I have candled the eggs and moved them so they were all together. She is not separating bad eggs- she is just color coding!!!

LOL, She's keeping her nest all neat and tidy for the new babies.

I am wondering if she will keep them under seperate wings. Birds are odd but entertaining...
